How to Set Up Your Macard WiFi Extender Correctly?
Blog Article
You’ve got two simple ways to set up your Macard WiFi Extender: using the WPS method or setting it up manually. Let’s walk through both options.
Option 1: Setting Up via WPS
Plug your Macard Extender into a working power outlet close to your main WiFi router.
Press the WPS button on the extender. You’ll see the WPS light start blinking—this means it’s trying to connect.
Within two minutes, press the WPS button on your router.
Wait until the WPS or WiFi LED on the extender stops blinking and stays solid—this means the connection is successful.
Once it’s connected, you can move the extender to a spot between your router and the area with a weak signal. Just make sure it still stays within the router’s range.
Option 2: Manual Setup
Plug the extender into a power outlet where it can still catch the router’s signal.
On your computer or phone, connect to the extender’s WiFi (check for the SSID in your WiFi list).
Open a web browser and go to 192.168.10.1 or gomacard.online.
You’ll be taken to the login screen. Use admin as the default password.
After logging in, choose your home WiFi network from the list.
Enter your WiFi password, then set a new network name (SSID) and password for the extended signal.
Click SAVE to finish setup.
Whichever method you choose, your Macard WiFi Extender will be up and running in no time, helping eliminate dead zones and improve your wireless coverage.
